Protecting Color and Structural Integrity
Pipes and conductors are critical plumbing and electrical components. While most polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes ultimately spend their lives underground, they begin stored in warehouses and yards, where they are exposed to the elements, sun, and UV rays.
Materials exposed to UV rays fade and yellow over time. Because many of these PVC pipes are color-coded based on their intended use, it's critically important that they maintain their colors. Sun and heat exposure can also cause warping—and deformed or discolored pipes lose shelf appeal—so it's important that pipes maintain their brightness and look newer for longer.
The Ti-Pure™ Solution
Adding Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide (TiO₂) to PVC piping and conductors increases durability and resistance to UV damage and prevents colors from fading, yellowing, and heat damage. Find the right Ti-Pure™ product for your needs.
